God So Loved the World
Advent Day of Prayer
with Sister Sara Dwyer, ASC

How do we experience the mystery of Incarnation as we enter this Advent season?

We are invited to step out of the darkness into the light. God’s grace embraces us as we encounter Jesus, the Risen One. This Advent let us allow the Word of God to dwell more brightly in our hearts and lives. We will consider Advent Scripture readings, listen to sacred music, enjoy the silence and ponder God’s love for each of us and for His Creation.

Sara Dwyer, ASC, is a member of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, an international religious order. She serves as the Director of the Washington Retreat House in DC. For over 50 years, she has facilitated adult faith formation opportunities and retreats in parishes; ministered in diocesan offices; served on her congregational leadership team and as a formation staff member for the Paulist Fathers. Sara has Master’s Degrees in Theology and Education.
